Atal Dulloo reviews progress under TAD scheme in Kupwara
 
KUPWARA, AUGUST 09: Union Joint Secretary, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Ministry of Rural Development, GoI, Atal Dulloo, also Prabhari Officer of Aspirational District Kupwara, visited the frontier district today and took detailed review regarding progress under Extended Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan and Transformation of Aspirational District programme.

The DDC Kupwara while presenting the progress under EGSA informed the meeting that all the 222 villages have been saturated under EGSA in which 115% of the target has been achieved in the district, at the same time, 105% under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, 101% under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, 111% under Mission Indradhanush, 155% under Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, while as 41 % of the target under Pradhan Mantri Shahhaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Soubhagaya) has been achieved so far.

Under Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan, there has been sustained progress and the district is currently placed at 25th rank among 115 Aspirational districts across the country.

Prabhari Officer expressed great satisfaction over the progress registered since the last review meeting regarding saturation in the identified 7 schemes across all 222 villages.

Regarding Aspirational District programme, a total of 49 indicators are being monitored monthly by Niti Aayog. The progress in almost all indicators is encouraging and the district is currently placed at 20th rank, as per online Dashboard of Niti Aayog.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, CPO Kupwara, SEs, Exens and all District Officers.
