BJP, JD(U) to contest equal number of seats in Bihar in 2019 | | | Bihar 26 October(Agencies) BJP and JD(U) on Friday decided to fight on an equal number of seats in Bihar in the Lok Sabha Elections next year.
Addressing media in New Delhi along with JD(U) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, BJP President Amit Shah said other NDA allies will also get a respectable seat share.
He said the number of seats to be contested by the parties will be announced in the next three-four days.
Mr. Shah said Ram Vilas Paswan led LJP and Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP are firmly with the alliance. He, however, said, when a new ally joins, there will be a reduction in seat share for everyone. | | | |
