| South Korean First Lady to attend 'Deepotsav' in Ayodhya today | | | |  Uttarpradesh 06 November(Agencies)
The First Lady of South Korea, Kim Jung-Sook, who is on a four-day visit to India, will today attend the 'Deepotsav' in Ayodhya.
She will also attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Queen Huh Memorial Park in Ayodhya.
According to Korean legend, a princess of Ayodhya went to Korea in 48 AD and married King Kim-Suro. The main streets of Ayodhya wear a scintillating look with illuminated lamps and special decorations.
Many buildings have been lit up for the occasion.
On Monday, the First Lady called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Prime Minister Modi and First Lady discussed the deep civilizational and spiritual links between India and South Korea.
They also exchanged views on promoting people-to-people exchanges. | | | | |
