Gunmen attack Chinese consulate in Karachi Pakistan
KARACHI 23 NOVEMBER: Firing and a blast were heard near the Chinese consulate in Karachi Pakistan on Friday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, three men possessing hand grenades and other weapons fired near the Chinese consulate in Karachi’s Clifton Block 4 around 9:25 am, geo news reported.

Security forces deployed outside the Chinese consulate retaliated to the firing, eyewitnesses added.

Police officials said the suspects fired near the consulate and then hurled a hand grenade, the geo report added.

Heavy contingents of police and Rangers have been summoned at the site of the incident.
