| Prime Minister surprised the Who's Who of Indian cinema | | Thanks everyone who attended inaugural ceremony of NMIC in Mumbai | | |  New Delhi Jan 21(Agencies)
A day after asking them "How's the Josh," Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to Bollywood bigwigs on Twitter. On Saturday, Prime Minister surprised the Who's Who of Indian cinema, asking them in a Bollywood-esque fashion: "How's the Josh?" Of course, they responded with vociferous applause, and an unequivocal "High Sir."
And on Sunday, he took time out to reply to many bigwigs of Indian cinema, who had taken to Twitter to describe the event to mark the inauguration of the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai. They described the Prime Minister's speech, and many posted selfies taken with him.
Replying to a tweet by the veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle, he tweeted, "Asha Ji, thank you for gracing the programme with your presence. The entire nation looks up to you for your stupendous contribution to the film world."
The great music composer A.R. Rahman, tweeted a picture with the PM, who replied saying he was happy to have met the music director, often known as the Mozart of Madras.
"Cinema (and) animation universities are the need of the hour", tweeted veteran film maker Subhash Ghai, famous for classic superhits such as Karma and Ram Lakhan, quoting a portion from the Prime Minister's address.
The PM responded by saying that India has several talented youngsters and also many talented film personalities who can mentor these youth. He added that channelising this talent through such universities can be extremely beneficial.
Responding to actor and stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma's tweet appreciating the Prime Minister's sense of humour, the PM said that whenever Kapil appreciates someone's humour, it sure makes that person happy, and he is no exception.
Ekta Kapoor tweeted a picture of her father and veteran actor Jeetendra, saying he is a big fan of the Prime Minister. The PM replied that the entire nation admires Jeetendra Ji for his acting. He recalled that during his speech on Saturday, he had appreciated Jeetendra Ji's energy and fitness levels.
The Prime Minister also responded to tweets from Bhushan Kumar, Kunal Kohli, Siddharth Kannan, Manoj Joshi, Divya Dutta and R. Madhavan.
Last but not the least, was a tweet from young actor Kartik Aaryan, with a photo tagging Imtiaz Ali, Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijjan.
"Losers' backfie with the Honorable PM!", Aaryan had tweeted, with a selfie of the four of them, where the Prime Minister's back is visible.
Not to be outdone, the Prime Minister was at his wittiest best in his reply: "Not losers but Rockstars! No selfie Jab We Met but there will always be another occasion," said the PM ending the tweet with a smiley.
