In IPL Cricket, Rajasthan Royals defeated Delhi Daredevils by 10 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur tonight. Rajasthan Royals who batted first had to end their innings at 153/5 in 17.5 overs because of rain.
After a two-and-half hour long rain delay, when the match resumed Delhi Daredevils were handed a difficult task of chasing 71 runs in 6 overs.
With some superb bowling from Royals bowlers, the hosts restricted Daredevils to 60 for 4 and registered their first win of the season.
Ben Laughlin was the pick of Royals bowler as he took two wickets for 20 runs in two overs, while Jaydev Unadkat chipped in with a wicket. Sanju samson of Rajasthan Royals declared as the man of the match, he smashed 37 runs in 22 balls which include two sixes and two fours. | | | | |
