| Lok Sabha polls 2019: ADC Kishtwar reviews preparedness | | | | KISHTWAR, MARCH 14: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Mohammad Hanief Malik, today convened a meeting regarding preparations being made in the district for ensuring free and fair conduct of ensuing Lok Sabha elections- 2019.
During the meeting, Election Expenditure Monitoring among other issues were discussed in length with the teams constituted by DEO Kishtwar including Flying Squads, Static Surveillance Teams, Video Surveillance Team, Video Viewing Team, Accounting Teams etc.
It was given out that Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) at district level have been constituted and the Committee will scrutinize print and electronic media to identify political advertisements in the garb of news in the media.
An awareness and hands-on training of C-Vigil App was imparted to the concerned officers.
Under (C-Vigil) App, any voter can inform ECI, if he or she finds any violation of model code of conduct in the elections in their booth by forwarding the latest photograph and videos through the App.
It was informed that flying squads were appointed for the purpose who will visit the spot after receiving the information and after verifying the incident. | | | | |
