On March 8, the court had referred the matter to a panel of mediators to explore chances of an amicable settlement. Retd. Justice Kalifulla was appointed as chairman, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu are the two other members of the committee. The committee was given 8 weeks time to complete its work. In May, it got an extension till August 15th.
