| Advisor Ganai condoles death of young cricketer | | | | SRINAGAR, JULY 11 - Advisor to the Governor, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has expressed deep sorrow and shock over the death of a young 19-year-old cricketer, Jahangir Ahmad War, from Goshbugh Pattan, during a cricket match organized by Youth Services and Sports in Anantnag district.
In his condolence message, Ganai offered his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family for its irreparable loss and prayed for jannat-ul-firdous to the departed soul.
The Advisor also urged the sportspersons to use adequate and prescribed protective gear while playing to avoid freak injuries.
