Karnataka to go to polls tomorrow

Karnataka will go to polls tomorrow to elect a new assembly.

Voting, which will begin at 7 AM, will end at 6 PM. Out of 224 constituencies, voting will take place for 222 seats. Polling in Jayanagar assembly constituency has been countermanded following the death of BJP candidate BN Vijay Kumar.

Voting in Rajarajeswari Nagar Assembly Constituency has been deferred after the poll panel received various complaints regarding the distribution of money, gifts and other materials.

Counting of votes will be taken up on Tuesday. A total of 2655 candidates, including 219 women are in the poll fray for the polls.
