Tourist visa travel from Bangladesh to India to resume from 15 Nov

New Delhi October 08:-
The High Commission of India in Bangladesh has announced that people from Bangladesh will be allowed to travel to India on tourist visas from 15 November.

In an announcement made on Thursday night on social media, the High Commission said that it will issue tourist visas for individual tourists planning to fly to India on all Air bubble flights that are scheduled on or after 15 November.

Those travelling on Chartered flights scheduled after October 15 as groups may apply for tourist visas too, said the social media post.

The tourist visa services will start from 12 October.

The announcement clarified that fresh tourist visas will be necessary for travel even for those who hold valid tourist visas issued earlier.

For now, tourist visas are only valid for travel by air or sea route. It further said that group tours can only travel after 15 October on Chartered flights.
