| Telangana State Formation Day celebrated on grand scale across state | | | | Hyderabad June 02:-
Telangana State Formation Day has been celebrated on a grand scale across the state today as the state entered into the tenth year of statehood. Speaking at the formation day celebrations held at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad State Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan stressed the need for development of all regions and all sectors. She said the state had registered development in sectors like IT, Innovation, life sciences and agriculture, the governor stressed the need for development of all sections of people and regions.Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the 21-day long state formation day celebrations at a gala event held at the Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat this morning. He hoisted the national flag and received guard of honour from the armed services. .
Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy hoisted the national flag at the historic Golkonda fort at a programme held by the Union Culture Ministry and received guard of honour from the central armed forces. | | | | |
