Bandipora, Oct 16: Locals on Thursday alleged that expired medicines were distributed to patients at the Ayushman Bharat Comprehensive Primary Health Centre (PHC) Odina, in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
According to reports, a local female patient suffering from bone and joint pain was prescribed medication by a medic posted at the health centre. However, after collecting the prescribed medicines from the dispensary, the patient discovered that the tablets had already passed their expiry.... |

Kupwara, Oct 15: Two terrorists were killed on Tuesday after the Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
Officials said that troops deployed along the LoC detected suspicious movement and opened fire, leading to a brief exchange of gunfire in which two infiltrators were killed.They said a search operation has been launched in the area to ensure no other infiltrators managed to cross over.
