Srinagar, May 29: As the annual Amarnath Yatra begins on July 3, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved a large-scale deployment of paramilitary forces to secure the pilgrimage routes and surrounding areas. A total of 581 companies of paramilitary forces will be stationed across Jammu and Kashmir to ensure a smooth and safe yatra.

Shopian, May 29 : Security forces on Thursday arrested two hybrid terrorists along with arms and ammunition in the Baskuchan Imam Sahib area of Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Three students injured in Rajouri road accident |

Srinagar, May 27: Atleast three students were injured after their school bus met with an accident at Manjakote area of Rajouri district on Tuesday.
Officials told media reporters that a bus bearing registration number JK11G- 2315 of Gharib Nawaz Education High School Kalali while on way to drop students lost its control and skidded off the road, resulting injuries to three students.

Srinagar, May 27: A 60-year-old woman lost her life, and several properties were damaged across different districts of Kashmir on Tuesday evening following sudden gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
