| 4-year-old boy drowns to death in Handwara village | | | | Handwara, June 10 : A minor boy drowned to death while taking a bath in a nearby Nallah in Hajin village of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.
An official sources told press that the incident took place after the boy along with his friends went to Gazi Nallah in Hajin village to take a bath.
He said that the boy drowned even as his friends tried to rescue him.
“He was later rescued and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, however, he was declared dead on arrival,” he said.
The deceased has been identified as Syed Fezan (4) son of Syed Aijaz Ahmad. | | | | |
