India beat Afghanistan by 6 wickets in first T20 International of three-match series in Mohali

In Cricket, India defeated Afghanistan by 6 wickets in first T20 of three-match series in Mohali last night. Chasing a target if 159 runs, the Hosts achieved the score for the loss of four wickets in 17.3 overs. Shivam Dube was the highest scorer with unbeaten 60 runs followed by Jitesh Sharma with 31 runs. Earlier, put into bat, Afghanistan posted 158 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Mohammad Nabi made highest 42 runs. For India, Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel took 2 wickets each. With this victory, Men in Blue have taken a 1-Nil lead in the three-match series.
