In Uttarakhand, fresh snowfall occurred in the higher reaches of the Garhwal and Kumaon region, while rain lashed several parts of the state including the capital Dehradun.
The State Weather Department has forecast heavy snowfall at isolated places above 3000 meters in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions today.
The State Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for a hailstorm with isolated heavy rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar during the next 12 hours. | | | | |
