Mumbai Set Target Of 538 Runs Against Vidarbha In Final Of Ongoing Ranji Trophy

Mumbai March 13:-
Mumbai set a mammoth target of 538 runs against Vidarbha in the final of the ongoing Ranji Trophy at the Wankhede Stadium. For Mumbai, Musheer Khan hit a solid 136 while Shreyas Iyer showed glimpses of a return to form with a quickfire 95 after captain Ajinkya Rahane chipped in with a gritty 73. The middle-order batters made Vidarbha bowlers grind hard for success. Musheer Khan became the youngest batter to score a hundred in the Ranji Trophy final, breaking the 29-year-old record held by Sachin Tendulkar. In reply, Vidarbha were 10 for no loss in their second innings at stumps. Mumbai remains the favourites to win the prestigious trophy for the 42nd time.
