In Badminton, India’s Meiraba Luwang Maisnam has advanced to the Men’s singles Quarter Finals of the prestigious Thailand Open Badminton in Bangkok, Thailand today. The 21 year old Indian shuttler stunned Mads Christophersen of Denmark in straight games, 21-14, 22-20, to march into his first quarter-final in the Super 500 tournament.
In women’s singles, India’s Ashmita Chaliha is scheduled to face the top seeded Han Yue of China in the second round this afternoon. While in Men’s Doubles, the star Indian duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will take on the Chinese pair of Xie Hao Nan and Zeng Wei Han in the round of 16.
