| Ramban Police arrest 5 bovine smugglers | | | | Ramban, May 20: Ramban Police arrested five bovine smugglers, seized six vehicles and recovered 73 animals illegally being transported towards Kashmir on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Monday.
Police sources said Ramban Police under the supervision of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar has foiled six bovine smuggling attempts, arrested five bovine smugglers, rescued 73 bovines and seized 6 vehicles. They said a Police team of Police Station Chanderkote intercepted a vehicle during checking and seven animals were found laden inside the vehicle. One person was arrested. | | | | |
