At Paris olympics, in table tennis team event, Indian womens including Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Kamath beat the Romanian team by 3-2 in the pre-quarterfinal match. With this win, they have qualified for the quarterfinal.
In wrestling, Nisha Dahiya has reached 68kg freestyle quarter-final final beating Tetiana Sova of Ukraine by 6-4 in the pre-quarter event.
In Badminton, Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen missed out on a historic Olympic medal as he lost to Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia by 21-13,16-21,10-21 in the bronze medal match.
