| Pulwama family holds protest against death of girl due to alleged medical negligence | | | | Srinagar September 16:-
Saboora Arshid from Arihal village in southern Pulwama district, who was undergoing septop lasty at a private hospital in Pulwama, died on Saturday, with her family alleging that her death was caused by medical negligence. The girl’s family also alleged that they were not promptly informed of complications during her surgery. In response to the incident, District Commissioner Pulwama, Basharat Qayoom, has ordered a probe and sealed the operation theatre of the private hospital. However, the family members of the deceased staged a protest today evening demanding concrete action against the accused doctor.
