NEW DELHI OCTOBER 07:-
A Delhi court today granted bail to RJD chief and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, in the land-for-jobs money laundering case.

The court granted bail to all accused, noting they were chargesheet without being arrested.

Bail was granted on a personal bond of one lakh rupees each, and the next hearing is set for October 25th.

The court also directed all accused to surrender their passports.

On September 18th, the court summoned Lalu Yadav and others after reviewing the ED’s chargesheet. The case involves Group-D appointments in the West Central Zone of the railways in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, during Lalu Prasad’s tenure as railway minister from 2004 to 2009.

According to the ED, land parcels were gifted or transferred to Lalu’s family or associates in exchange for the jobs.
