J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) Condemns Government's Move to Commercialize Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex | | | Jammu NOVEMBER 20:- Vilakshan Singh, President of the J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim), has vehemently condemned the Union Territory government's decision to resume construction of a hotel within the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex. This historic site, a symbol of the rich and diverse Dogra cultural heritage, is being desecrated for commercial gain.
Singh asserted that Mubarak Mandi is a testament to the glorious legacy of the Dogra rulers. Converting this heritage site into a hotel is a blatant disregard for the Dogra community and their illustrious past. He accused the National Conference and Congress of systematically working to erode the Dogra identity since the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India.
The forced exile of Maharaja Hari Singh marked the beginning of the decline of the Dogra community, Singh stated. Since then, the National Conference has relentlessly strived to obliterate Dogra history, culture, and identity. The recent government decision, coming shortly after the formation of the new government, underscores the National Conference's intolerance towards symbols that celebrate the grandeur of the Dogra dynasty.
The Panthers Party (Bhim) will resolutely oppose the government's attempt to commercialize the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex. Singh urged the Dogra community to unite and safeguard their historical, cultural, and identity. | | | |
