| Army foils woman’s attempt to cross LoC in J&K’s Poonch | | | | Poonch, Jan 06: Army on Monday foiled woman’s attempt to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that a 35-year old Shaheena Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Akram Faizah, resident of Jatna village tried to cross Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur sector of Poonch district.
They said the lady whose husband is currently working in Saudi Arabia, took this step after having some arguments with her family.
Army however thoroughly investigated the matter, and handed over the woman to her in-laws.
The local police and administration have also been informed, who have initiated further investigations into the matter. | | | | |
