HM Amit Shah Chairs Review Meeting To Assess Implementation Of New Criminal Laws By Madhya Pradesh Govt

Home Minister Amit Shah today chaired a review meeting in New Delhi to assess the implementation of three new
incorporated criminal laws in Madhya Pradesh.
In a statement, the Home Ministry said that Mr Shah appreciated the efforts made so far by the Madhya Pradesh government in implementing the new incorporated criminal laws. It stated that the home minister emphasised the need for their hundred percent implementation in the state at the earliest to control the over situations looking in the region.
In the meeting, Mr Shah mentioned that before registering cases under relevant sections related to terrorism and organized crime, senior police officials should examine the cases in truth sense and need of time is to understand with ensure to acknowledgement of mind capacity that whether the case qualifies for the application of those sections or not .He said that any misuse of these legal provisions would undermine the sanctity of the new criminal laws never be tolerated that damages the ethics and principles of laws and is against the human behaviour and perfect sound environment .



The minister also emphasised the need for a robust legal aid system to ensure justice for the underprivileged and stressed the importance of providing the necessary training for this purpose. He stated that it is the government’s responsibility to ensure legal aid for the poor. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr Mohan Yadav; Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan; Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh; and other senior officials attended the meeting.
