How long Kashmiri Pandits will have to live at the mercy of the majority community in the Valley:-Di.Jitendra Singh | A report on Facebook by Kundan Kashmiri | | JAMMU JANUARY 24:- The recent statement of Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji, Hon’ble Minister in PMO,during an exclusive interview on a a private channel with Mr Tankha) raises questions that how long Kashmiri Pandits will have to live at the mercy of the majority community in the Valley reflects a significant reality. However, it is essential to address this matter with clarity and conviction on behalf of the displaced and victimized Kashmiri Pandit community. That Kashmiri Pandits will not return to their ancestors land on the mercy or discretion of others, whether from the majority community or otherwise. Mr. Kundan kashmiri the KPC leader said that We will return as proud and dignified citizens of India, as unwavering nationalists, and on the strength of the writ of the Indian Nation in Kashmir. Our return will not be dictated by the mood, choice, or mercy of the majority in the Valley but will be guided by justice, constitutional guarantees, and the principles of equality and dignity. Kashmiri Pandits are not dependents but self-reliant individuals who remain deeply rooted in the history and ethos of Kashmir. Our return will be on our terms, with respect and security as non-negotiable priorities.Mr. Kundan Kashmiri said." While stated further more to learn and claim that “everything has been done” for the return of Kashmiri Pandits is far from reality. While the government has constructed some quarters for employees posted under the PM Package in the Valley, this cannot be equated with a comprehensive plan for the dignified and secure return of the entire displaced community. The present arrangements made by the government cater to a limited section and do not address the larger issues faced by thousands of displaced families who remain neglected. The certainty and reality about the infrastructure, security guarantees, with the rehabilitation measures necessary for a holistic and honorable return? Much more remains to be done. Kashmir is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits because we are the aboriginal inhabitants of the Valley. The cultural and historical foundation of Kashmir was laid by our community, and the rest of the population comprises those who were converted over time. Taking the dig on the idea about the return and live on the mercy of others is unjust and unacceptable entirely the fact of rejection on the grounds of misleading the general people of the community..KPC leader further asserted that the majority community must recognize us as the original inheritors of the Valley and treat us with the respect and dignity that this truth and our demands. KPC leader while made attempt on the statement made by the Dr. jitendera singh and said that our return will happen only under conditions that ensure safety, dignity, and sustainability. The community must be settled together in a secure area ( one place at the land of Kashyap) to foster unity and protect our cultural identity. KPC leader said more that our return must be accompanied by constitutional and institutional safeguards to protect our rights and ensure justice." He said . That the learnable fact from the past the community have already realise that the Infrastructure, employment opportunities, and access to essential facilities must be provided for a sustainable future and should not once put on questions and querries to only for the discussion and debates. KPC leader demands that a bill on recognizing the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits must be passed to address past injustices and ensure that such atrocities are never be repeated in the Indian history and secular state. KPC leader anguished and expressed his pain and stress over the present view and said that Words alone cannot address the pain and suffering of the Kashmiri Pandit community, but needs to act to do otherwise the memories of past painful acts that describing the endured 35 years of exile. Kundan Kashmiri said more that there is need to clear the road map, and a firm commitment for to justice and the return of minority community the kashmiri pandits must be to reflect with empowerment of the strength according to the acceptance of the Indian unity and nation to ensuring that Kashmiri Pandits regain their rightful place in the Valley, not as dependants but as empowered citizens. Kashmiri said more that we remain deeply connected to our roots and committed to the unity and sovereignty of India and Our return to Kashmir must be a testament to justice and the strength of the Indian Constitution accordingly. While as your comparison of displaced Kashmiri Pandits to those who visit the Valley for religious rituals or pilgrimages such as havans is both misplaced and deeply insensitive concerns. To visiting temples or ancestral homes temporarily is an emotional act of connection to our roots, not a return to normalcy or an indication of safety. The reality of displacement and the challenges of resettlement are far more complex and demand a pragmatic and secure approach the picturing the negative aspects to under we live and dignifies at present. KPC leader demands for a safe and secure settlement at one unified place under one umbrella that stems from a deep understanding of the socio-political realities of present-day Kashmir. He said more that more than 3 to 4 lakh people from the Sia community live compactly from Raniwara to Chattabal, HMT, and Pattan and why have they chosen to live together in a compact area? and said that it is simple: for collective safety, cultural preservation, and social cohesion. When Muslims from Kashmir, Doda, and other areas migrated to Jammu, they settled together in places like Bathindi, Gujjar Nagar, and Bhawani Fort with realisation to understood the need for unity to safeguard their religion, culture, and ethos. It can not ruled out that it is human nature for communities to live together, especially in regions where there is a risk to their identity, safety, and culture. Kashmiri Pandits, having faced genocide, displacement, and decades of exile, cannot afford to scatter themselves as isolated families in villages and towns further any more. The atmosphere in the Valley has drastically changed over the last three decades. , Muslim youth, raised in a culture of separatism, gun violence, and radical ideologies, pose a stark contrast to our youth, who have been raised in a culture of Indian values, democracy, and inclusive way . To expecting Kashmiri Pandits to return to scattered locations, where they would be vulnerable to minorities in an increasingly radicalised environment, is not just impractical but outright dangerous. Finally the KPC leader made demand for a safe and secure settlement of kashmiri pandits at one place is a matter of survival, dignity, and preserving our cultural heritage and promotion of equal development to ensure and endure the sustained development with the community affairs at large that would guaranteed the safety, constitutional safeguards rights of the community with job oriented results with faithful and fruitful support to impact on society to made learnable stages in the history of unity and strategy environment. The demand for a unified settlement is not segregation but it is a realistic and necessary step to ensure the survival of a community that has already faced too much. Our pain, struggles, and aspirations should not be trivialised or misunderstood further any more .said Kundan Kashmiri ."
