| Ladakh To Celebrate International Year Of Cooperation In New Fiscal Year | | | | LADAKH MARCH 15:-
Union Territory administration of Ladakh has decided to celebrate the International Year of Cooperation during the upcoming new financial Year. A series of activities as well as slew of measures to revive the defunct cooperative sector will be held across Union Territory to mark the international Year of Cooperative.
Chief Secretary, Ladakh Dr Pawan Kotwal officially launched the annual activity calendar for the celebration of the International Year of Cooperative to be organised in Ladakh.
In an official direction, the Chief Secretary Dr Pawan Kotwal instructed the officials to use the International Year of Cooperative logo and commemorative stamp for the official correspondence of the administration of Union Territory Ladakh.
As part of pre celebration of International Year of Cooperative, the Cooperative Department has already initiated several initiatives to strengthen the Cooperative sectors.
Additional Registrar of Cooperative, Ladakh said the Department has started computerization of Primary Agriculture Credit Society (PACS), establishment of PACS based cooperative societies for diary and fisheries farmers, regularisation of earlier defunct Primary Agriculture Credit Societies and convergence of PACS to Multi Purpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies. | | | | |
