Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir next week to assess the security situation, sources revealed on Monday.
During his visit, Shah will chair a high-level security review meeting in Jammu, where he will evaluate the region’s security scenario.
He is also expected to visit forward areas along the International Border to review security arrangements and interact with security personnel.
The visit comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures in the Union Territory.
