In Jammu and Kashmir our minds have refreshed with some old golden memories of the time when the fourth pillar of democracy, media, was working in the interest of the country and the people, but times kept changing and the faces on gold coins also got started changing.
What did we think, but what did we get to see, which we never even expected? Perhaps the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting knows all this, it is clear from his words that he is well aware of the art and qualities of the media, what is our goal, what should our content and what are our dreams but why our dreams did not get embarrassed with the changing times so to whom shall we ask.
One wonders if the truth was not concealed or hidden from the Sanjay jaju Secretary, Ministry of Information, Government of India during his recent review visit to Srinagar perhaps he would be aware abut the dice game of DIPR Jammu and Kashmir. Where some times in front of officers like Mama Shakoni, the dice suddenly turns down and everyone becomes naked. Yes! Badalta Waqt Arman Dil Ke Raaz Ko Raaz Hi Rehne Do.”
To whom we shall tell about the state of trouble, what happened after the year 2014, when before that at least everything was going on normally in the Information Department of Jammu and Kashmir. Thereafter and then, why did these changes and the situation come to light that illiterate people, tailors, cart runners, drivers, milk sellers, bread makers, contractors, barbers who shave everyone, drivers, conductors, shopkeepers, medicine sellers, vegetable sellers be produced and introduced as editors and journalists in the yellow pages of Journalism. The advertisement seller agents sitting next to each other inside the department should be allowed to run such businesses and why should the people having professional connections be kept out? And restrained them from the freedom of expression. The pro national Journalists and uprooted professional journalists of minority community been restrained and controlled unlawfully and so become the highly victimized of DIPR.
