The Strong path of tourism in Jammu and Kashmir WRITTEN BY ASHOK RAINA
 
Recently the Jammu and Kashmir Commissioner Secretary Tourism, Yasha Mudgal, has said that the Union Territory is on a strong path of revival in tourism and is once again becoming a top-choice destination for travelers from across the country. While confirming on this sector more Mudgal asserted further and stated that all states and Union Territories have come together for a major brainstorming session aimed at enhancing India’s tourism sector.

“The Tourism Secretaries Conference is being organized with participation from all states and UTs with intention to give a strong message across the country that J&K is a preferred destination, not just for leisure, but for all forms of tourism,”

It is an evident and clear that the Ministry of Tourism (MOT), also saw the participation of the Union Tourism Minister and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in this regard is the biggest event of the year for the people of Jammu and Kashmir , and it sets the tone for the all coming season ahead to boost the economy through the tourism sector and would eradicate not only poverty but also would help to cooperate the co friendly relationship each other.

That it can not be ruled out that after the April 22 this year the tourism sector was highly get effected due to terror attack in which more than 26 innocent lives were being killed and now the situation gradually changed into normal and flow of tourists across from the country has been tremendously showing visiting and in last 6 days the destination of pilgrims and devotees towards the holy Amar Nath shrine is seeing extremely large and more than 1.5 lakh devotees has complete their pilgrimage successfully and has done the darshan of holy cave.

The government of India is making every effort to boost the tourism sector in the state of Jammu and Kashmir the small-scale industries is being promoted the loan facilities being applied for all the needy and deserve ones as such the positive results for tourist flow has picked up again in key destinations like Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. “Tourists are coming from all corners of the country and for them large-scale events help promote confidence and reinforce Jammu and Kashmir’s image as a safe and vibrant destination all around.

The continuation of tourism in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and to organize more such events is a target of the tourism department and there are advanced preparation looking programs enhanced to cover and boost the tourism sector. That to lift and improve the seasonal winds of tourism, the rich monuments and very historical places is given immense importance on the outlook map of Jammu and Kashmir. The preparation of booklets and colorful print layouts for the purpose of awareness programs is being given the way in very good shape and in a very significant manner so that all visitors coming from the outside they state would not be misled towards their desires and destinations.

The routes for beautification of the tourism sector in the state of Jammu and Kashmir have been already shaped and are looking very smart. The railway lines and links are passing in curved manner through slopes down mountains having many bridges and tunnels with sweet dancing of birds and their chirpings on the way attracting the hearts and minds of the people. No doubt that those who once have visited the state like to visit again and again. Yes the government has built a strong path of tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
