THE STORY OF THE CHAIR //WRITTEN BY ASHOK RAINA | | | Of course, the story of the chair has been told or written by many people in their own way, but my story is based on the different thoughts of all of them and if you remember those childhood days, then in schools also students were usually asked to write essays or express their views on the subject of chair and essay competitions on the subject of chair were seen in various examinations.
If truth be told, since childhood everyone desires and craves to get a good position and sit on a chair and do various hard work to get higher education for high level position. Nevertheless, now there is so much tussle going on to get the chair nowadays that we had never even imagined.
Now the political arena has also begun to get the chair and nowadays often during the live telecast, people have also started knowing the meaning of the chair, how the chairs have started making tinkling bell sounds on the shoulders of the leaders.
The desire to get chair or power arises and awakens in everyone, but till date you have not seen any to make uses of chairs by force for clash over the change of power for power and what do both the houses of the council that makes law and order have to say? that they themselves keep us all informed of all the scenes.
Everyone should be eager to get the chair and they should be, only then everyone can take some good initiative in taking the country forward, whether the opportunity to sit on the chair is possible or not. It is sad and regrettable that those who call themselves law makers in the interest of the country are doing such things to gain power, which surprises everyone.
Apart from this, outside both the councils of the House, the common man has to face many other difficulties to get a seat or any post in any department of the country to do best service for the public in general next to the state.
The condition of recruitment boards in India is very pathetic. The unemployed youth have to go through so many paths to get a government job. The lathi charge on the unemployed youth after the action of the Staff Selection Commission today itself clearly shows the situation. News has also been published in this regard, but what is happening in the Staff Selection Commission is very condemnable.
If I talk about myself, I have also tried very hard since my childhood to get a good position and post. I have participated in many All India level competitive examinations conducted by various recruitment boards across the country and despite getting many successes, not get the letter of appointment due to high corruption practice in India.
I also found the Staff Selection Commission guilty of making appointments through backdoors. I also submitted the case with full evidence before the Vigilance Commission of India and even after the intervention of the Vigilance Commission of India, the Staff Selection Commission did not take any action, which is a matter of grave concern.
You know that several recommendations for appointments made by the staff selection commission for different posts in different departments are irregular and several times the large number of candidates have registered their protest demonstration against the staff selection commission in capital Delhi and no doubt several matters have been determined by the investigation departments and teams.
An example to the post of Transmission Executive being later converted into the program Executives made by the staff selection commission recruitment board in Hinky pranky manner of the blue eyed candidates without their participation in the selection process and without their participation in competitive examination with the author of this article and most significant thing is as is remembering in this corrupt state that since after the year of 2014 I have filed number of petitions before his her excellency the presidential secretariat and ordered passed number of times in favor but the letter of communication received under RTI act 2005 dated 8/08/2025,12/6/2025 that the concerned and parental Department I.e. All India Radio and Door darshan have not received any order from the part of the presidential secretariat while on the other hand the other letter of communication received through also under RTI act 2005 that the order once passed by the office of his or her excellency the president's secretariat has not been got implemented .
In the world of corruption, the rules and laws of India were already useless and were ignored and simultaneously continuously admiring all these things from all the successive governments till now. I have seen many rules and laws being broken even more today Just to save one's chair reputation and position.
