Amritsar OCTOBER 24:-
A fire broke out in the general coach of the 14618 Amritsar–Purnia Jansewa Express on Friday evening near Sonbarsha Kutchehry station under the Samastipur division.

According to preliminary reports, the fire may have been triggered by a mobile phone explosion or a bidi/cigarette mishap.
The fire was quickly brought under control using extinguishers, and no passenger injuries or casualties were reported. All passengers were safely shifted to other coaches, said Indian Railways in an official statement.

Civil police and forensic teams have reached the spot, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire.
