| Mehbooba commends J&K’s new Rajya Sabha representatives | | Calls for effective representation of J&K | | |  Srinagar, Oct 24 : Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti on Friday congratulated Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, and Shami Oberoi on being elected to the Rajya Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking to X, Mehbooba Mufti expressed hope that the newly elected members would use the Upper House to raise the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Congratulations to Ch.
Ramzan Sahib, Sajjad Kichloo, and Shami Oberoi on being elected to the Rajya Sabha. I hope they will use this platform to strongly represent and speak up for the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” she wrote.
The Rajya Sabha elections for four seats from Jammu and Kashmir were held recently, marking the first such polls after the formation of the new Legislative Assembly in the Union Territory.
