| NCC Cadets of Gandhinagar celebrates 150 Glorious years of Vande Mataram | | | |  JAMMU NOVEMBER 11:-
In a display of unwavering patriotic fervor and vibrant youthful enthusiasm, the NCC cadets of 8 J&K Girls Battalion, PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhinagar, commemorated 150 glorious years of Vande Mataram through a series of week-long activities celebrating the spirit of unity, art, and devotion ,love to the motherland under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. Geetanjali Andotra and Commanding Officer Col. Muneesh Jasrotia, with meticulous coordination by ANO Lt. Suman Bala, the cadets showcased commendable dedication and creative brilliance to fulfill all the beautiful images and creations to surprised them at large.
The celebrations began with a solemn visit to the iconic Balidan Stambh, where cadets paid heartfelt homage to the gallant martyrs who made the supreme sacrifices for the nation’s freedom followed by Unity Pledge by Principal Dr. Geetanjali Andotra , NCC cadets and senior faculty members to reaffirm their unflinching commitment to national integrity with great capacity of sound meaningful desires aims of the society .
The poster-making competition on the theme “Vande Mataram @ Glorious 150 Years” filled the campus with vivid colors of patriotism and creativity was enlarged to fulfill the minds and hearts of the people .
The week reached its crescendo with the spirited Unity March @ Vande Mataram, flagged off by Principal Dr. Geetanjali Andotra along with ANO, and Senior facuty member Dr. Babita Jamwal. The cadets, in crisp uniforms and high spirits, marched from the college premises to Kalakendra, Bikram Chowk, disseminating the proud message of unity and national pride among the public to smile and enjoy.
Adding a touch of artistic grandeur, the cadets crafted a beautiful wall dedicated to 150 years of Vande Mataram in the Arts Block corridor—an aesthetic expression of reverence ,honor and outlooking shine behavior and creativity. The Principal appreciated the cadets’ tireless efforts and remarkable zeal, applauding their vivid imagination, disciplined execution, and patriotic spirit that truly made the celebration a memorable milestone will remembered for ever. | | | | |
