| Crime Branch Kashmir Files Chargesheet Against Man for ₹5.5 Lakh Job Scam | | | | Srinagar December 19 : Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet in a job fraud case, reinforcing its zero tolerance stance against employment scams.
The Special Crime Wing filed the chargesheet in FIR No. 05 of 2020 under Section 420 RPC before the Court of Sub Judge 13th Finance, Srinagar. The accused is Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, son of Shamsudin Shah, a resident of Saloora, Ganderbal, presently living at Peerbagh, Srinagar.
The case began after complaints alleged that the accused took ?5.50 lakh from multiple people. He promised government jobs for them and their relatives. The promise turned out to be false. Investigators found evidence showing deliberate deception. The accused misled complainants by exploiting their hopes of government employment. He induced them to part with their money through false assurances.
After completing the probe, the Crime Branch found the allegations substantiated. It filed the chargesheet for cheating under Section 420 RPC before the competent court.
Crime Branch Kashmir said it will not tolerate job frauds. It said such crimes prey on unemployed youth and vulnerable families. The agency urged people to stay alert and report job related frauds without delay.
