| Arushi-Hemraj murder case: Allahabad HC reserves judgement | | | | New Delhi 11 January
The Allahabad High Court today reserved it's judgement in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case. The Bench comprising justice BK Narayan and justice AK Mishra reserved it's judgement in the appeal filed by parents of Aarushi, Dr Rajesh Talwar and Dr Nupur Talwar, who were convicted and sentenced for life imprisonment by CBI Court Ghaziabad.
Dr Rajesh Talwar is in jail while her wife Nupur is on parole to take care of her mother who is seriously ill. It is to recall that Dr Rajesh Talwar and his wife Dr Nupur Talwar were convicted in November 2013 in the double murder case of their 14-year-old daughter Aarushi and their house help Hemraj.
The two were murdered on the intervening night of May ,2008. In November 2013, the parents challenged the decision in the Allahabad High Court by filing the present appeal. | | | | |
