Gunfight breaks out in Charar-e-Sharif 2 terrorists killed one more trapped inside
 
Srinagar, Jan 21 (Agencies): The firing between militants and government forces at Hapatnar in charar-e-Shareef area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district has stopped two terrorists killed one more trapped inside the besieged area.
The officer said that earlier, a joint team of army’s 53 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation following a “credible inputs” about the presence of two to three militants hiding in the hideout.
The gunfight raged after a joint team of army’s 53RR, Jammu and Kashmir police’s Counter Insurgency Group and other paramilitary forces cordoned off Haapat Naalah area of Budgam district after inputs about presence of militants. As the forces approached the suspected spot the militants hiding fired upon forces triggering a gunfight.

Reports said that clashes have erupted around the gunfight site after youth hit the streets and pelted government forces with stones. The forces retaliated triggering clashes.
Authorities snapped the mobile Internet service in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday following a gunfight between militants and the government forces.

An official said the Internet service was suspended as a “precautionary measure”.
