| ADC reviews arrangements for annual Baba Chamiyal Mela | | | | RAMGARH, JUNE 11: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Vikas Gupta today convened a meeting to review arrangements for smooth conduct of annual Baba Chamiyal Mela at Ramgarh.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur Vijay Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police Faisal Qureshi, Commanding Officer BSF Chamiyal Post, Manoj, Assistant Commissioner (Development) ML Tasir, General Manager DIC Sansar Chand, Executive Engineer PDD, AEE PHE and R&B, Block Development Officer Ramgarh, Executive Officer Ramgarh Municipality, Tehsildar Ramgarh, besides Sarpanchs and Panchs along with locals were also present in the meeting.
Sub Divisional Magistrate gave a brief account of the works completed and under execution at Baba Chamiyal Shrine including enhancement of honorarium of shrine priests, renovation of temple, construction of new toilets, culvert, street lighting and pavements etc.
ADC asked the concerned departments for providing necessary security, construction and maintenance of all approach roads to Baba Chamiyal, construction of additional hand pumps at the shrine, sanctioning of additional electricity transformer, availability of staff, medicine, ambulances, fire and emergency services and other essential services during the Mela. He also directed the concerned department to keep a check on food stalls and maintenance of proper sanitation and hygiene there. | | | | |
