| DC flags off 2nd Batch of Mindal Mata Yatra | | | | KISHTWAR, JUNE 11: Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana welcomed and flagged off second batch of annual Mindal Mata Yatra from the historic Gori Shankar Mandir today.
Chain Singh Dehati, President Chandi Mata Mindal Sanstha, J&K Himachal, Guru Tirth Ram Manhas besides huge gathering of devotees including women and children accompanied the Chari Mubarak amidst chanting of religious slogans and singing of Bhajans.
All necessary arrangements for security, basic amenities, medical facilities and other things have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the yatra.
Pertinently, the second batch of yatra started from Khyan Aghar Jitto Katra today left for the holy shrine along with the Chhari Yatra. After passing through several passes and scenic beauty of Padder -Pangi valley the yatra will reach Mindal Village via crossing Sohal- Tyari- Ishtyari villages of Jammu and Kashmir and Sansar-Killar-Findru of Himachal Pradesh. | | | | |
