Even as the rain gods threaten to spoil the party in Manchester, cricket fans across the globe are bracing themselves for the lip-smacking India vs Pakistan World Cup encounter.The two Asian giants are face-off against each other at Old Trafford on Sunday, 16 June.

Weather predictions suggest that the conditions would remain overcast and the match might be affected by intermittent rains
So far in the tournament, India has won two of its three matches, while its fixture against New Zealand got washed off due to rains. With five points so far, the Men in blue are fourth in the points table.

Pakistan, on the other hand, have lost two and won one of their matches, while they too witnessed a washout in their match against Sri Lanka. With three points in four matches, Pakistan are ninth in the table and desperately in need of a win.
