| Modi govt's decision on Art 370 is historic: HM Amit Shah | | | |  New Delhi 29 August(Agencies)
Union Home minister Amit Shah who was on a one day visit to Gujarat said that the Modi Govt's decision on Article 370 was historic.
Shah said that for years people of the country had wished for Kashmir to be declared an integral part of India and the decision under Prime Minister Modi's leadership to do away with Art 370 and 35 A showed his firm commitment as a leader.
Shah further said that when it comes to the issue of terror tooo India now gives a befitting reply.
Addressing the 7th convocation ceremony of Gandhinagar-based Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, he said that India is one of the fastest developing economies today and would definitely achieve the goal of a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2025
Amit Shah inaugurated the country's first automated battery charging and swapping station for e-buses in Amedabad .
He also flagged off 8 e-buses and spoke of how they would contribute towards a clean environment and sustainable living.
Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani who was present on the ocasion said that 50 such e - buses had been built inder Make in India and that the number would soon become 500.
Shah was in Ahmedabad to attend an event organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to mark the conclusion of its campaign to pant 10 lakh trees in the city in the Ahmedabad Science City. | | | | |
