India discusses cooperation for IBSA Trilateral Ministerial Commission meeting on sidelines of 77th UNGA
 
NEW DELHI 22 SEPTEMBER 2022:-
India discussed cooperation under India, Brazil and South Africa (IBSA) in its's ongoing Chairship and preparation for IBSA Trilateral Ministerial Commission Meeting on the sidelines of 77th United Nations General Assembly. In a tweet, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, MEA Secretary Dammu Ravi hosted Sherpas and Sous Sherpas of IBSA in New York yesterday.

The IBSA is a trilateral, developmental initiative between India, Brazil and South Africa to promote South-South cooperation and exchange. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, India and Brazil have reaffirmed the urgent need for a comprehensive reform of the UN Security Council (UNSC) to help combat contemporary challenges to international peace and security.
