| Senior woman Maoist leader in Telangana surrendered | | | | TELANGANA ,SEPTEMBER 22:-
A senior woman Maoist leader who was the Divisional Committee Member of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist)’s South Bastar Division, surrendered before the Telangana police last evening. Savitri is the wife of late Ravula Srinivas alias Ramanna, who was a Central Committee (CC) member and secretary of the Dandakarnya Special Zonal Committee of the banned CPI (Maoist). He died in December 2019. Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy announced the surrender of Savitri, who is a native of Konta in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. | | | | |
